XRechnung 4.0 Pre-Release Published

KoSIT has published the pre-release of XRechnung 4.0, the first version aligned with the revised European standard EN 16931-1:2026. It adds more than 50 new business terms. Among the changes: multiple buyer references, XML attachments, structured early payment discounts and support for multiple orders and deliveries in one invoice.

The pre-release is not for production use. The final version is expected in spring 2027, and XRechnung 3.0 remains valid until at least 31 July 2027.
