XRechnung 4.0 Pre-Release Published
KoSIT has published the pre-release of XRechnung 4.0, the first version aligned with the revised European standard EN 16931-1:2026. It adds more than 50 new business terms. Among the changes: multiple buyer references, XML attachments, structured early payment discounts and support for multiple orders and deliveries in one invoice.

Slovakia Proposes Changes to E-Invoicing and Digital Reporting Rules Ahead of 2027
The Slovak government has submitted a VAT Act amendment (Parliamentary Print 1454) that changes the upcoming e-invoicing and digital reporting rules. Mandatory e-invoicing stays on track for 1 January 2027, but VAT payers would not be penalised for issuing late e-invoices during a six-month grace period from 1 January to 30 June 2027.

Poland Extends KSeF Penalty Deferral Until End-2027 and Retains Token Authentication
Poland's Ministry of Finance has announced that penalties for KSeF errors will be deferred until 31 December 2027, a year later than previously planned. KSeF remains mandatory for all businesses from 1 January 2027, and penalties will only apply from 1 January 2028.

UAE Electronic Invoicing Guidelines Version 1.0 published
The UAE Ministry of Finance has released the UAE Electronic Invoicing Guidelines Version 1.0. The document sets out the main regulatory and technical framework to help businesses prepare for the national e invoicing rollout, with a phased implementation starting from 1 July 2026.

Kazakhstan’s State Revenue Committee is phasing in the “Integrated Tax Administration System” (СӘИЖ) and new taxpayer cabinet (СӘИЖ СТК). Starting August 25, 2025, five different tax application forms will be available through the new system.
